"Mattie O'Hare" (Mattie / akc Mandy)- {09.12.16} <under construction> Mattie is primarily matted with Maximus for the darkest coloring, the long flat silky coats, and mellow / obedience / hunting oriented temperament and trainability; great keen smart disposition; very gentle, but has plenty of energy when needed, while also content watching Saturday matinee's with you on your lap; smaller in size at about 55-60 pounds; easily and willingly. Occasionally mated with Angus for darker pups, but with the Rufus influence of being somewhat "laid back" and with his wonderful "gait". Mattie heritage is from Golden Glen Kennels (now extinct) that is famous for its dark red goldens with hunting and obedience awards; imported from Canada, with AKC registration.
"Flakey" (SnowFlake)- {05.14.16} <under construction>, pure english cream from Alabama breeder with mellow temperament and great trainability; great disposition and loves to be around at least one human as their "teddy bear", though content with other dogs as well; very keen senses; about 75 pounds

"Whisper" & "Willow - (retired) These are our twin sister goldens! They come from a wonderful lineage including close links to the well-known "Gold-Rush Kennels".
On their dad's side are many close relations in their grandparents, great grandparents, and back to dogs from some of the origin countries of the Golden Retriever - Sweden, Netherlands, Spain, Great Britain
On their mom's side are direct relations to the well known "Gold-Rush Kennels" from which have come a VERY long line of wonderful goldens. The founder of Gold-Rush Kennels, R. "Maximus"- {11.04.11} Maximus has a somewhat smaller frame, though very muscular and lean. TinkerBell, Jasper, and Mattie are his primary Dams, providing some nice smaller adults; Tinker's slightly larger. Those with TinkerBell are the "mocha cream" - with just a tinge of a darker mocha coloring as pups that usually gives way to solid english cream as they age. Similar lineage to (and related to) our retired "Moosey" (see below); Maximus' great great Grandmother was our Moosey's Mother!; Parents - no health problems; mellow yet active temperament; VERY loving and VERY obedient with little actual training; desiring to please; musculature; long but fairly flat dark golden coat, about 70 pounds
"Angus"- {11.01.16} <under construction> Angus is primarily mated with SnowFlake (pure english cream pups) and an occasional mating with either Jasper or Matttie (darker golden pups) Angus' parents are TinkerBell and Maximus'. His grandfather is our Rufus, here at our place and just turned 13 in February. Willow is his grandmother who we retired to a home of an older couple in Berkeley. Angus is virtually a clone of Rufus with his lean english cream body and musculature. He is very energetic (somewhat from his dad Maximus), yet also very submissive and mellow (from his grandpa Rufus.
